INSPIRE Send Alliance is committed to raising standards and improving the outcomes for the young people in Lincolnshire, through collaborative and partnership working.
Research has demonstrated that the formation of networks between schools can impact positively on self-improvement. This is what we seek to do.
We believe that:
- There are aspects and elements of excellence in all schools which are transferable and adaptable to a range of contexts. Sharing these resources and expertise between schools will improve the quality of teaching in schools, ensuring that the children in all of these schools receive the best opportunities they can to be successful learners;
- It’s about learning for everyone, where practice can be improved and sustained in an environment where links and connections are made between the best practice and provision;
- All schools collaborating within the Alliance should be able to identify the benefits that being in the Alliance has for all of their learners;
- We should be adaptive and responsive to emerging challenges, meeting those challenges by sharing knowledge, skills, expertise, understanding and potential new ways of working;
- Consciously learning from the learning is at the heart of everything we do; utilising a range of strategies which make explicit the learning processes and skills which enabled that learning to emerge;
- Continuous professional development is crucial in improving pupil and student outcomes, staff morale, and staff retention. However, this can be expensive and, as such, may be limited to just a few staff members. Through Inspire we seek to offer cost-effective, productive CPD that will be designed in such a way that is collaborative, sustainable and can be evaluated over time.
